The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Our apartment has been family-owned for over 100 years and has always been home to people who had a close connection to the Harz Mountains: as farmers of cows in the Upper Harz Mountains, as foresters in the forest and as passionate hikers and nature lovers. In about 10 minutes you can reach downtown Wernigerode, the market square with the town hall and the many restaurants and shops. The bathing establishment is opposite, and the swimming pool is about 400 meters away.

Here our guests will find a lovingly furnished apartment on the first floor, which reflects the charm of an old half-timbered city. In a few minutes you can reach the city center. Cafes, restaurants and pretty shops are almost at your doorstep. The castle is about 15 minutes on foot.
