We are here in the middle of south Iceland. The house is alone in the unspoiled nature, with horse and birds around. Very warm and extremely cosy place to relax and enjoy. Next small town Hvolsvölluris 20 min away. 20 minutes to drive to next waterfall, Seljalandsfoss, 40 min to Skógafoss. Around 1 hour to drive to Vík í Mýrdal, and 1 hour to the "Golden cirkle". 10 min to Landeyjahöfn - the harbour to Vestmanneyjar. You can see some famous volcanoes and hear the sounds from the ocean .

We offer incredible cabin located in the heart of South Iceland, the perfect location for sightseeing all the famous natural attractions of the south coast, such as Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, natural mountain pool, the black sand beach or ferry to Vestmannaeyjar Island. The cabin is decorated in the typical Icelandic style with two bedrooms and a loft, as well as two bathrooms and an open kitchen/living area. There is also a hot tub on the property to relax after a day of travelling.

A beautiful very private cabin just about 1 Km. from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A perfect location to overnight on your way to the glacier lagoon or Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.

Vallnatún Cottage is located on the South coast of Iceland, nearby many of the main attractions, like waterfalls, volcanoes, black sand beaches and glaciers. Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
