If you are arriving with more than one vehicle, additional parking is available at the Schweitzer Fire Station/Roundabout on the way up the mountain—this is the only area on the mountain that permits overnight parking. Once parked at the home, it’s an easy walk to the village for restaurants and other amenities.

Welcome to Pinewood nest! This spacious studio is located on 5 forested tranquil acres just minutes away from the hiking, cross country skiing, and sledding at Pine Street Woods. Situated in a historic Sandpoint home, the lodge is 10 min from downtown Sandpoint and 20 min to Schweitzer. It features vaulted ceilings with windows and patio doors that look out on trees, fields and mountains. A queen bed sleeps two and the sofa converts to a full bed making this ideal for a couple or small family.

We are 1 mile from the base of Schweitzer ski mountain and 5.5 miles away from the lake. Separate entrance (only shared walls are the hallway and kitchen) with parking space in front. Just north of Sandpoint in a small community of homes. Come enjoy the electric fireplace in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Take a stroll around the neighborhood.

We don’t double book, so when you book, the whole property is yours to enjoy! The river is a great for swimming in July/August. Before this date, it’s too deep.
