There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

Looking for a relaxing place with just that little bit extra? Welcome to our spacious apartment on the dike, right on the ring canal. Here you can enjoy peace, comfort and nature. Comfortable & cozy The apartment is spacious and bright, with a cozy sitting area with TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, oven and 5 burner induction hob, Japanese toilet and a comfortable double bed. Everything is carefully decorated – perfect for couples who want to get away from it all.

Oosthuizen Studio, for short and longer stays.

The studio is the top floor of our back house, with its own entrance, small shower/toilet and kitchenette. The space is 10 by 6 meters, overlooking the Beemsterringvaart. It's a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Bus 314 will take you one way to the historic city of Hoorn and the other way to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus takes 40 minutes to get there. It is best to buy tickets in advance of your visit to Amsterdam travel tickets so that you can use all public transport (26/33 euros)
