Yukigo Lodge is a fully renovated kominka (traditional Japanese house) that makes use of traditional wooden building techniques rooted in the local culture.You can spend some time away from your daily routine in a space with exposed beams and a calm indoor atmosphere. Also, one of the highlights of Yukigo Lodge is the Goemon-style bath.To make the most of the view from the Goemon-style bath, it is installed outside.When you use the facilities, we ask that you please move a short distance outside. What makes this inn unique is that you can enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese satoyama landscape, feeling the abundant blessings of nature throughout the four seasons.Recommended for a relaxing stay with loved ones or friends. Based in the summer of Azumino and Ikeda Town, the view of the Northern Alps is stunning. You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From late August to September, summer is a season where you can enjoy the quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For more than 5 people, please consult in advance to accommodate car rental. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano Town, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal views, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living". At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQs and campfires without worrying about the weather. You can also enjoy a barbecue on the wooden deck while looking out at the beautiful scenery of Nagano. There is also a hot spring facility nearby, so please use it as well. The inn can accommodate up to 6 people, but there are 4 beds. Please use the futon for the 5th person. We also welcome corporate training and workations. Located in a quiet place surrounded by nature, you can spend time in an environment that combines work and relaxation while increasing your concentration! The renovation was attended by Studio Sayapu led by Mr. Kitazawa, an artist based in Nagano.Focusing on Mr. Kitazawa's sensibilities, the company's craftsmen brought out the power of the old private house and finished it into a space that quietly accommodates sophistication while making use of the taste. It is cool in summer and in winter you can enjoy skiing and snow views.While surrounded by nature, time passes as you gently prepare yourself. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
