You will also have access to a laundry room and a two person air mattress that can be situated in the living room. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, allowing you the option to feel closer to nature by partaking in outdoor activities (or just a lovely stroll!). Activities include hiking, ATV/Buggy tours, or swimming in the local Lágafell pool. For those interested in taking day trips outside of the city, the apartment is also a short distance from the highway. Travel by car/taxi is preferable, but public transport is also possible. It is really fun to walk around and people on this street. There are about 100 restaurants, coffee houses and bars within walking distance.

Loftið is the name of this flat on 2nd floor, it is located in Bræðratunga in the outskirt of Mosfellsbæ, only 50 minutes drive from the International Airport. Loftið is surrounded with fir trees and birch, moss and mountains, with hiking trails all around, and near by is the lake Hafravatn. 2 km to the next grocery store, and 3 km to the center of Mosfellsbæ, where you can find a bakery, restaurants and library. About 600 meters to the bus stop, where you can take the bus to Reykjavík centrum.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The apartment is located on a farm 7 km from Borgarnes and 80 km from Reykjavik. The farm is 1 km from road nr 1. The view from the apartment and the surrounding area is very beutyfull. We have horses, chickens and dogs on the farm. The horses are very friendly and love attention. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them.
