Soludden Eckerö – Sauna with a sunset by the sea

Cozy little cottage with open floor plan, mini kitchen, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Two bar stools with the possibility to eat breakfast inside. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two terraces, the one in the west has a dining table for 6 people with an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east side terrace as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet directly outside the sauna as well as a separate newly-built shower and laundry room as well as a frozen toilet a short distance away.

Beach with kayak

Stay close to the sea in a small and simple accommodation with its own sauna and beach. There is a kitchenette, outdoor toilet behind the outhouse, a bathroom with sink and shower. The bedroom has a bunk bed, sofa bed for two is in the room. Kayak is available as well as outdoor furniture and charcoal grill. (Coal and lighter fluid are not included) Electricity and municipal water. The sauna is wood-fired. The accommodation is located next to the hiking trail around Kungsö battery with the nice observation tower and cozy picnic spots. Mariehamn is close, about 10 km.

A two-bedroom apartment with two balconies that many people appreciate

Ett trevligt och lugnt boende med gångavstånd till butik, sportplan, hamnen och centrum. Boendet har utsikt österut mot skogen som ger ett rofyllt och ostört läge. Knappt någon biltrafik hörs in till lägenheten. Det blir också svalt i lägenheten till kvällen. Begränsad utsikt till havet från balkongerna men fin utsikt till bolagets vackra uteplats och planteringar. Endast 5 min promenad till butiken. Trevliga strandnära klippor för bad och utsikt när färjorna ankommer. Fina promenadvägar.

Our cozy log cabin is located on the beach with beautiful views of Färjsundet. The cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, fireplace and air heat pump. There is one double bedroom, one loft with two single mattresses and one sofa bed. The dock is down by the beach, which is suitable for swimming and has a boat dock. Fishing permit can be bought in Godby. The cottage is only 2 km from Godby center, about 16 km from Mariehamn and 9 km from the golf course.

Västra Ytternäs is a quiet area close to nature in southern Mariehamn. The city centre can be reached via a walking and cycling path about 2.5 km away or by bus from a stop 240 m from the residence. The nearest beach, Algrundet, is about 1.8 km away. In the nearby area, there is a marina, a grocery store about 1.4 km away, kayak rentals, a playground, a fish shop and nice walking paths. Knorrings restaurant is about 2.7 km away.

Boathouse cottage including kayaks, boat and bikes

The cottage is located on/right by the sea, still only 6km from the city center. On the 2nd floor you find the bedroom, kitchen/living room and a big balcony. On the 1st floor we have a bathroom, shower and a comfortable sauna with an extraordinary sea view. During the winter the cottage is closed when it’s very cold. Please note that from Oktober to March the rowing boat and kayaks we will not be available for you to use.

The fire crackles from the sauna stove while the Åland Sea opens up through the large windows. Relax on the large terrace with adjacent relaxation lounge and listen to the waves crashing on the beach stones. Fagerudda sauna is secluded with its own beach only 500 meters from Björnhofvda Gård. From the parking lot, the beach sauna is reached via a beautiful hilly 200 m long forest path down to the sea.
