We have set checkout for 2 PM so that you can enjoy a relaxing stay. Located on a stone embankment where two rivers converge, this renovated traditional Japanese house is surrounded by trees and is a private room-only accommodation. There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come to the river next to the inn to play in the river or to go to the Kappa Falls. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy playing in the river, as well as a BBQ or a campfire (depending on the season and weather, we may ask you to refrain from these activities) using the food you bring. (Please be careful when handling fire.) Please rest assured that cooking utensils, a microwave, and tableware are also provided. If you walk upstream along the riverside path, you will find the Kappa Falls about 150 metres ahead. The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
