Grouse Lake Campground is uniquely situated along Grouse Lake at the edge of Chugach National Forest. This is a WALK-IN, TENT-ONLY campground with parking at the entrance. Each site has a beautiful view of the lake to watch the wildlife such as the occasional ducks, beavers, and land otters. Chugach National Forest is aTemporate Rainforest. And, although we do have many sunny days, be prepared for rain. This is our largest campsight with room enough for three 5 person tents, or one larger tent.

The tent has two twin air mattresses, electricity, and everything you need for Kaladi's coffee, tea, and smore's. Relax in comfortable chairs overlooking our garden or gather around the fire pit. You’ll hear city sounds around you and floatplanes overhead. We’re directly beneath the world’s biggest float plane track, so planes taking off and landing are part of the experience!
