It has been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization), with whitewashed clay walls, natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences, and more.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through the water basin, the ladle, the deer fountain, the stream between the stepping stones, and the pond. This accommodation is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset. Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

We have set checkout for 2 PM so that you can enjoy a relaxing stay. Located on a stone embankment where two rivers converge, this renovated traditional Japanese house is surrounded by trees and is a private room-only accommodation. There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come to the river next to the inn to play in the river or to go to the Kappa Falls. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy playing in the river, as well as a BBQ or a campfire (depending on the season and weather, we may ask you to refrain from these activities) using the food you bring. (Please be careful when handling fire.) Please rest assured that cooking utensils, a microwave, and tableware are also provided. If you walk upstream along the riverside path, you will find the Kappa Falls about 150 metres ahead. Please ensure you have food and drinks, such as dinner, prepared before check-in.(It takes about 20 minutes by car to the supermarket) The last 400 metres to the accommodation are narrow and difficult to navigate, Once you arrive at "Camu Tsubaki Mountain", we will be happy to show you around.

This house is built on the quiet seaside in Shodoshima Town. The house was built just for dusk watching the sea and the sunset.Therefore, I apologize for the large number of stairs on the terrace, but I can never call it barrier-free.(I will do my best to help with my luggage, etc.) However, at the end of the high terrace, there is a glittering, calm and beautiful sea in Setouchi, and a kane-colored sunset that changes faces every day. The interior is accessed by climbing the terrace stairs.It is not handicap accessible. Please be sure to accompany small children or adults when climbing up and down the stairs. Also, on rainy days, there are many stairs, so it may be inconvenient. The road in front of the accommodation is not paved. Please note that this may be an inconvenience. There is a lot of nature around the inn, so there are definitely insects.Sometimes insects come in together when opening and closing windows and doors.(Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you are not good with insects.

This accommodation is a private resort called "Private Resort Fuji", located in a villa area 11 minutes on foot from Lake Yamanaka, which was renovated by a designer in July 2024. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
