This is a private lodge with a hot spring, located a 12-minute walk from Atami Station. A 65-year-old old private house has been renovated and transformed into a new space that combines the quaint atmosphere of the past with a modern Japanese feel. The spacious entrance, house structure with a view of the courtyard, and separate bedrooms make you feel as comfortable as if you were in a ryokan (Japanese inn). Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

Also convenience store is nearby. This accommodation is only for entire renting and wide enough for 11 guests, width is almost 100Sqm. We have bedrooms, living room with Mt. Sleep on traditional futons and enjoy an authentic Japanese stay. Lake Kawaguchi is within walking distance, and the famous reflection spot is just 10 minutes away. Kawaguchiko Station is 1.7 km away. Supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, and hot springs are all within walking distance.
