Your own hamlet: 2 rustic homes on the Verzasca

Two 300-year-old stone houses with original granite roofs — your own little hamlet, a stone's throw from Lavertezzo and the emerald green Verzasca. There's no one else here. Right behind the houses is the chestnut forest, and opposite is a waterfall. At night, you hear nothing but the river and crickets. Both houses together; 300 m², a total of 5 rooms (including 3 bedrooms), 12 sleeping places, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, 2 terraces and a shady garden — all connected, all for you.

The house (Rustico) is located outside Cavigliano in a large, park-like Mediterranean garden with numerous seating areas on a quiet sunny south slope directly above the Melezza & Isorno rivers; 5-10 min. walk to the beach. Ideal for nature lovers & romantics. It is an ideal starting point for excursions, hiking, climbing and swimming. Attention: Due to the hillside location and steep stairs, we only rent the house to families with children aged 8 and over. Not suitable for disabled people.

With a short walk along the famous red road of “Via alla Riva” you can reach Muralto, Locarno, Tenero. Supermarkets such as Coop and Migros are within walking distance. Blue zone (public parking) for parking, present in the area and for a fee. Minusio train station is 300 meters from the accommodation.

Heating if needed with gas, electric oven or wood. Wi-Fi available, no TV.
