De Gortla (front)

We are Koen and Marleen. We recently took over the b&b de Gortla. The Gortla is located in a village: Oosterblokker. Oosterblokker is close to the cities of Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Amsterdam. Hoorn is within cycling distance. Enkhuizen and Amsterdam are easy to reach by car or train. The cottage has its own kitchenette, where you can cook for yourself, and a private bathroom with a lovely shower. At the top of the spiral staircase, there is a double bed. Downstairs in the living room, there are 2 single beds.

Elburg - Fortress "Bij de jufferen"

In the medieval fortress of Elburg lies this monumental residence (1850) with many authentic details. On the ground floor is the private entrance. You can also put your bikes there. On the first floor (old steep staircase😉) you will find a cozy living room with kitchen. Also here is the staircase to the loft where the bedroom is. You have access to a private kitchen with (simple) cooking facilities. The green fortress wall is 50 meters away, and you have a view of the historic church tower.

The studio is located on the 1st floor of this monumental building from the 18th century. The center and harbor area of ​​Hoorn can be reached within walking distance. This spacious (27m2) studio apartment is located in one of the most beautiful locations in the historic city center, between the Oosterhaven and the IJsselmeer. This recently renovated studio is spacious and playful in design and equipped with every comfort, making it a great base for a couple or family with one child. Parking in front of the door is possible by means of a visitor's permit (day tickets) at €5 per day. A good Wi-Fi connection and a Smart TV complement the whole.

It is a great base for bike rides and walks and water recreation. Outings in the area: day trip to Amsterdam, Muiderslot, Fortress Museum in fortress city Naarden. Parking lot with power poles. Clear swimming water at 1 km, restaurant at 400 m, city center at 4 km, bus at 300 m. Pets are not allowed.
