Shindok House is a small-scale guesthouse consisting of a 140 m² main building, Yongdu-ri, and two annexes, Dongwolchul and Seoilak, with a total area of 26.6 m². It is a small, health-oriented house built with yellow clay from Ganghwa-do, cypress wood from Hwasun, Jeollanam-do, and macbanseok and germaniumseok for the ondol. It's a loft-style villa, and you can enjoy the indoor fireplace from autumn to spring, and you can sit in the garden in front of the accommodation and barbecue with a relaxing atmosphere. Our place is a genuine home in authentic local neighborhood. Heukseok has old alleys and long-running restaurants alongside newer shops and cafés loved by local university students. At the same time, it is well connected to the main tourist areas: 20-30 minutes door-to-door by public transport (Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gyeongbokgung, Gangnam, COEX). We lived in this flat for a few years and made sure to keep some of our personality and history there to make it feel like a real home for our guests.
