You can explore beautiful beaches, great small towns, rolling hills or just enjoy looking out the window. You'll hear owls, see hares and red kites and get a taste of this undiscovered corner of Scotland.

Staying in the centre of town, close to takeaways, a brewery, galleries, shops, park and Carlingwalk Loch. Facilities include a 50" smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, table and chairs. Free WiFi. On street parking outside the property. The Old Fish House

Everybody loves The Old Fish House! With stunning river views it is a beautiful and peaceful cottage, yet a three minute walk from the nearest shop and the harbour. It is a great and relaxing base to enjoy the culture, coastal scenery or walking around the area. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families and we love well behaved dogs. There is a staircase between kitchen/diner and lounge so the cottage may not be ideal for children under 4 years old.

Part of the beauty of Woodend is even though you are surrounded by fields, it’s only a stroll into Dumfries town centre (20 mins). Prices inclusive of Airbnb 15% service fee.

There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.
