This cozy five-person nature cottage has a large shared garden behind the house with animals, various seating areas and a large playground with play equipment. When the weather is nice, you can cook outside in the witch's cauldron or use the barbecue. The cottage is a great base for exploring Drenthe, Groningen, Friesland and Germany. For example, the beautiful forests of Emmen with their megalithic tombs and the Bargerveen nature reserve are nearby, but the fortified town of Bourtange is also not far away.

Welkom in het bosrijke Exloo, gelegen op de Hondsrug in Drenthe. Wij wonen zelf in het monumentale treinstation van Exloo uit 1903, aan de NOLS spoorlijn, van Zwolle tot Delfzijl. deze spoorlijn is opgericht in 1899 en opgeheven in 1945. Deze spoorlijn is nu een mooi wandelpad! Naast ons huis staat een geheel vrijstaande en gloednieuw gerenoveerde woning van 2 verdiepingen met genoeg privacy en eigen ingang voor max. 6 pers. Er is gratis parkeerruimte, en een eigen terras in gehele privacy.

This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and thus equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Come and stay in our unique little cottage located in a quiet location in Gasselte on the Hondsrug, Drenthe, bordering the forest, heath and sandy plains of the Drouwenerzand nature reserve. Here you can spend hours hiking, cycling or horseback riding in a wooded area. You are just a stone's throw away from the Drenthe megalithic tombs, the famous swimming lake Nije Hemelriekje, the Adventure Park or the Drouwenerzand Amusement Park. Your horse or dog can come along for a small fee.

Lovely bungalow in a beautiful place! With a large private garden around the bungalow. The bungalow is entirely on one floor. A nice living room, practical kitchen, fresh bathroom and 3 lovely bedrooms. Private parking at the bungalow. There is a private playground right in front of the bungalow for our tenants and a general playground in the park (1-minute walk). Also there is a pump track, tennis court, table tennis tables, volleyball, and a large air trampoline available.

Vakantiehuis op het erf van een woonboerderij met veel privacy. Het is gelegen vlak bij de bossen waar een prachtige zwemplas, wandel- en fietspaden zijn. Gasselte is bekend om de vele mountainbike routes. Je kijkt vanaf het terras uit over de landerijen en in de zomer lopen de schaapjes met hun lammetjes in de wei. We zitten naast een klein cafeetje die geopend is op zaterdag van 16.00 tot ca. 23.30 uur. Er worden ook af en toe borrels en feestjes gehouden.

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.
