Cozy cottage with room for 4-5 on Lake Michigan. Conveniently located five minutes from Escanaba, you can relax in the hot tub, enjoy the fire pit, soak in the views of lake from the fenced in yard, or walk down to the lake with chairs and a fire pit waterside. The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! Kitchen closes at 9:00pm EST and restaurant closes at 10:00pm EST. 1 queen bedroom, 1 queen futon. SmartTv, Wifi.

Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

Lake Superior Cottage

This historic log cottage was originally built in the first part of the 1900’s as one of the early fishing camps of Shelter Bay. Over the years there have been numerous modern improvements, but much of the rustic charm, such as the large stone fireplace and the low ceilings and exposed rafters of the second story, remain…and the character does too. The shoreline is stones and boulders which make for lots of action and adds to the aesthetics that come from the sound of lapping waves.

Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. We're just 10 miles south of downtown Munising - the gateway to Pictured Rocks; we're surrounded by hundreds of miles of roads and trails which boast amazing fall colors; and we're just 3 miles away, as the crow flies, from the Buckhorn Resort and snowmobile Trail 7. Our location is perfect for playing year round!

Built in 1974, this rustic and architecturally unique cabin is an all wood modified A-Frame nestled in the woods of the Upper Peninsula.
